I’ve always been interested in space travel, and I an especially interested in the propulsion systems of launch vehicles and spacecraft. I’m currently a PhD student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Propulsion Research Center (PRC), working under Dr. John W. Bennewitz in the Advanced Propulsion, Energy, and Combustion Science Laboratory (APECSLab), where I currently work on small-scale rotating detonation rockets engines with a focus on in-space applications. Before graduate school, I was employed as an aerospace engineer at HyperSciences, Inc. in Spokane, WA, where I worked on development of a new alternative to rockets for 1st stage boost to space.
